Celebrate our city’s charismatic design

29 June 2017

Each year, Open House Melbourne runs a program of talks, tours, interviews and workshops that explore the issues, challenges and successes of our city’s built environment.

The program is a platform used by policymakers, architects, and industry professionals to engage with the public regarding issues facing the city and its infrastructure. It is part of the Open House Worldwide Network, founded by Open House London.

What began in 1992 as a small, not for profit organization promoting awareness and appreciation of London’s design and architecture is now a successful event spread across 30 cities worldwide.

Whether you’re an architect or builder, or simply a design fanatic, Open House Melbourne will expose you to significant buildings and sites across the city to learn about how building, urban planning, infrastructure and more are influencing the future of our city.

As a key partner in the refurbishment of the T&G Building, we’re proud to support Tim Leslie, Studio Director at Bates Smart, who is a Founding Board Member and Open House Melbourne President.

Occurring over the month of July, there are many activities for you to partake in. Below, we’ve outlined what we’re most excited for.
